Keenan Technologies to discontinue residential support [March 17, 2022]

When the Covid-19 first hit and we were put into a quick “14-days to stop the spread”, Keenan Technologies looked for ways to help our clients work more efficiently, while still remaining out of the office. We worked with many people to help them navigate a completely online working existence. When we did this, we had several people ask us to open up our resources to help more residential clients. We helped families upgrade their Wi-Fi, we helped CEO’s get their families connected with Zoom, we became a residential IT solution.

Today, the world seems to have a better handle on what should be considered safe practices and many businesses are moving their operations back into their offices. There is something to be said for being in person and needing to actually get dressed for a day of work. We are seeing many offices that are flourishing and enjoying their office space and we are seeing their IT needs increase.

This increase is the catalyst for Keenan Technologies to discontinue* residential IT support as of 3/15/2022. We gained some business from addition of services, but at the end of the day, it is a whole market segment that we do not have the resources to meet the challenge. First and foremost, Keenan Technologies is a Small Business IT support company.

* If you are a business client of Keenan Technologies, our relationship will still include coverage of your personal equipment as it has in the past.
